You did absolutely the right thing. As we could obviously see in the movie the outcome was the best possible. Imagine if you had gone through with abortion, not only would the movie be half the length it was, you wouldn’t have gained the maturity you did, you wouldn’t have gotten as close with that Bleaker kid, and you wouldn’t have granted a sterile woman the gift of motherhood. Clearly the choice was by far the best, no doubt about that. So, I truly do thank you and all the teens your age, who own up to their actions and make the best out a crummy situation. Nobody wants to be pregnant as a teen, but never the less you are, so would you rather be the mother to a living child or a dead child. And as we could see, we knew which one you wanted to be.
